It was bought as a gift for my son who is so thrilled with the effects of the products. The purpose that the item was bought for was perfect for the computer game Flight Simulator X.
I don't think there is a joystick any better to be found for under $20. Yeah I've had some better ThrustMaster joysticks but they were 3 times the price. I've been using the Logitech Attack 3 for a few months now. I really like the quality and feel the joystick has.
Software led me through the set up easily with older PC. I needed a basic joystick for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 program and this product works great and was very easy to install.
I would say best buy for the money and functions. Have used for a few months now and so far works great. Best of all, got it fast and lowest price at Amazon.com So far Logitech has had good products and stands behind them with great customer service. Easy to setup with Logitech's profiler. I like the way you can set the controls for each game if you want.
This joystick is a pretty basic unit.there is no POV hat and no rudder axis which may cramp the style of some gamers.
